PROBABLY SOME DUMB KID WHO GREW UP ALL THEIR LIFE HERE AND JUST ASSUMED THE WHOLE WORLD EATS MCDONALD FRIES AND THAT ALL COUNTRIES HAVE BURGER KINGS..

Hi Rogerset, I understand your frustration. Take some deep breaths and try not to totally freak out.

Iris told you that she got her AOR 2 days before you and only just got her SA. Wait until CIC changes the website either tomorrow or Thursday, then you can be sure if they past your date already. Remember it's possible that they sent you via snail mail as we see that some people got theirs via that route. Hang in there. The minute you hear something you will feel the biggest relief.

Hello guys, and girls!
I am also getting ready my application for PR outland (common-law), through Paris. I thought I was going to have it ready for December, but the translations of some papers made delayed the app. Now, finally I have everything ready! I have so many papers that we will need a box to send it all. Any advice in how to send it?
We went trough so much with all the visas and stuff that I only want that this process goes quickly, PLEASE!

Did anyone actually get the letter in the mail after the email notification? If so how long did it take? Its been 10 days for me and no letter in mail.

Another question...they mentioned somewhere (maybe on website) that they will send a Permanent Residency Card Kit to be given to the person I'm sponsoring...did anyone else see this or get this kit? Thanks guys!

I received the SA letter via snail mail 10 days after Decision Made was on ECAS. In terms of the kit, I believe that is issued to your spouse once he/she gets approved for PR (don't quote me as I could be wrong).

My wife, in the USA, just received her COPR documents in the mail today there.
It's nothing more then a simple brown envelope from Immigration Canada, PR landing document, a letter of explanation, and that's about it.
I'm not sure, maybe info on the letter of steps to take landing etc, but I would/t really say it's a "Kit" of any sorts, just a regular size envelope and a couple papers.
Take note, ours was basic, no problems with documents, other then the strike, and took 1 year and 10 days to get this far.

I am soo worried about my app...i got my aor on the 6th but havent heard anything from them since then. Today i called cic and the lady told me shes sending missisauga a request about my file cause it should have been done by now.....

Maria, Even I am in the same boat. Received AOR on Jan 10th and still no word from them.

i think you will hear from them by end of this week say 24th or so or even before.

they are just lazy and want to sit around on our apps all month long- they have nothing else to do.

we all have to support each other on this forum because we hae unwittingly gotten into this process.

The very fact that only 2AOR's were received yesterday and 1 SA on 20th Jan means that they are really slow this week. Doesn't necessarily mean that there is bad news. Lets just hope things pick up speed during the next 3 days and we all get approved!!!
