Question: Has everyone received there Sponsor Approval via mail? Or did some people get it via Email?

Since we were on the topic of men anyway, my worry with the approval is...since I did the whole package I discovered that my husband hadn't done his taxes in a few years. So I had to provide the CIC with a letter of assessment from 2012 stating that he was quite in debt to the government. After all of the hard work, I hope something like that doesn't make it so I can't have him sponsor me. Anyone else have less than perfect Sponsors and still get approved?

I think you live in BC and BC resident gets their mail-SA after about 16 days since AOR. Look at the time line of Vikasgandhi who lives in BC ! I living in BC too and I got my AOR and on Jan 01, 2014 and CPC-M sent me letter on Jan 07. I did not get my SA yet. When CPC-M updated their Ecas to Medical Reports received it means they are progressing with the immigration application.
If the application is refused then CPC-M would definitely sent that refusal letter with whole application package (As they do not keep application package ) by courier with tracking no as the application has very valuable documents. And the courier should reach you by 3 business days. As they sent SA by normal mail it is taking time.

We recieved both AOR and SA via Email.

Hi guys,

I was wondering if any of you guys that made our spreadsheet could give me a hand with setting up the January spreadsheet. Just helping those people get a thread of their own.

Here is the sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ai51zUkctRaQdHBOVmlXUjJ4UHczZUF3LU1rdEVPeFE&usp=sharing#gid=0

The only thing I can't figure out how to do is the formula for calculating "# of days from A to B"
And if you can do anything to improve it, be my guest. I suck at making spreadsheets.

Thanks! I also had my ecas update under 'application received' with 'medical results received' on Jan 11. Thanks!

Updated! :)

Hi Avadava. I suck at spreadsheets too. Haha. Maybe millertimez can help you out on that. :)

So set back in my application to for the CSQ. It was returned because I used the old amount from 2013 of $266 :o. 2014 as of Jan 1 is $269. *sigh* all this for $3

So I have to send it back to them with the correct payment. The good thing is that they stamped when it was originally received, so hopefully I won't start over from scratch!

Thank you all so much for the advice and support! What a stressful process, but I do feel a lot better to know that other people's boys have less than perfect backgrounds as well. Fingers crossed it's in the mail today and he's approved. My background is pretty smooth and straight forward, except I'm bringing two dependent children from a previous marriage. I already went to court though and got Washington State's approval to move them to BC (included the notarized court paperwork with my application). Come on good news!

Shout out to my fellow members from BC :D btw, I got my SA via e-mail.

I have a question about ECAS since I have ever used it. Can it only be used after you have received UCI number?

I'm impatient as well :-X working 18 hours every day in order to show enough funds for a TRV, I'm going to miss his niece's birth...

Yes. Because it is one of the details that you have to supply when you log in.. But usually, after you receive your UCI, you cannot login right away.. Give it a day or two. :)

Hello

What happen for us how we sent our application after December 20th ???

:(

You have to wait for AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt) from CIC to either your email (that is if you wrote one) or by snail mail.
