So aparantly they didnt feel the need to inform me that my application had been recieved and just went straight to SA as of the 29th of Jan. at least that is the sweat of for a while.



Could one of you lovely people update the spreadsheet for me please, and add that my medicals were done on the 18th of october 2013.

My boyfriend got an e-mail today! ;D
Apparently my application was received at CPC-M on December 27, 2013

And we got the AOR on Jan 29 29th

So you guys can update those informations when you are available thank you!

They should be updating the visa office processing times soon. Last quarterly update was on Oct. 30th, so lets hope we hear some good news. My VO is at 13 months at the moment, I'm hoping it will go down a couple of months, since their times are based on last year's processing. With the strike and all, I think that's why they are so high, but the strike is over.

Karthik- Congratulations on your SA.

I have one question-

Where do you exactly see the word 'action' on your ECas? This is the first time I am hearing such a status update on someone's eCas. All I see in mine is for Sponsorship application, it shows as 'Decision Made' and that 'They sent me a letter on Jan 23rd 2014'.

Can you pl clarify?

Sorry guys....my mistake i should have been clear on that.
My ECAS still has problem , not able to login (need to check the details i am giving in the ecas link) . Having said that , the Call centre were able to open the file and they said the term "action" not me ???
U guys are right...AOR...SA....File transfer All can happens at once or in jumbled fashion.

I would say @ this point to wait and watch may be for a month or so and then check with them on the status.

Congrats on the AOR!
While it seems that a lot of members got it by snail mail, I got mine by email. I got the email a week after my AOR.

Agreed - it appears that the transfer time is about 2 weeks based on some folks who have received AOR's from the VO's.

I kind of settled down a bit since SA.............WAIT .........who am I fooling?? I still check my ECAS and the forum every day. I go on threads from past months, Ottawa, other countries threads, any threads

So after 10 bloody days of fretting and panicking I received this email some time late last night (I wake up at 1:45am as I'm a baker and it was in my inbox when I woke)

Good day,

Thank you for your email. I have reviewed the police certificate and we are able to accept the Complete Disclosure certificate as there are no convictions listed. I apologise for the error.

However you will be required to provide a Queensland Traffic History report. Please contact Queensland Transport and then blah blah.

So I'm happy and just a touch annoyed at the same time as just last night the applications for both we're sent off. So let's rack that up to $100 that was wasted. All I'm waiting for is the traffic so now the Feb 19 deadline seems easier. I guess I just have a shiny new police certificate to stare at and remind me that I am not indeed a criminal. Taking everything with a smile and hoping the universe repays me with super fast processing.

That's true, I've had far more communications from CIC than I thought I would. I'm just happy everything is sorting itself out and my case officer seems nice, even apologized.
