And it also says medical recieved... I guess my 28 months begin lol.... Damn its gonna be the longest two years...
I know what you mean! I really hope when it says 'medical received' it means received by the VO..I've seen that it was processed in Mississauga.maria a said:And it also says medical recieved... I guess my 28 months begin lol.... Damn its gonna be the longest two years...
But when AOR was received from Singapore VO and same day Medical Results Received was updated, then does not it mean it was updated from Singapore ?maria a said:And it also says medical recieved... I guess my 28 months begin lol.... Damn its gonna be the longest two years...
Yes it means it was updated from Singapore. They opened your file, pulled out your medicals from the data base and sent you AOR, all in the same day. They always open the file when they receive it to start the initial procedures.Shaw said:But when AOR was received from Singapore VO and same day Medical Results Received was updated, then does not it mean it was updated from Singapore ?
I know, I watch the Sydney thread, quite a lot get processed between 3-7 months. My file is currently paused until they receive requested files though. I sent the applications a week ago today and no word of arrival. It makes me anxious as they only gave me a month to get 2 files from Aus to Can back to Aus. Fingers crossed it all gets there on time. The worst part is just knowing my file is sitting in a dark corner being ignored. My goal is to have PR by my birthday this year (end of Aug).JenPin said:I think some applicants with Sydney VO have received their visas in 3 months. So with the speed your VO is working on your application looks like you will be done with the process much before the average processing time. ;D
AWESOME NEWS - SPREADSHEET UPDATED!!!omek07 said:I got My SA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Just now i receive email
Dear XXXXX
This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on
behalf of XXXXX
You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent
Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing.
I would think those that entered their email address in the app, get emails. It said if you entered your email, that future correspondence would be through that medium.rogerset said:Omek07- Congrats!
cpc-m is very funny. For some people, they send out SA email and some people they are sending out physical letter. why?
I know how you feel mate!Ellasg said:Frustrating, no AOR yet... :'(

Benjis, I doubt they would just close your application like that. If you see the deadline approaching, just make sure to send proof of what you have done so far (payment, tracking, etc). Maybe it's a good thing that they didn't give you 90 days because maybe they would have only re-opened your case after the 90 day deadline even if they got the documents after 30 days?benjis_monikuss said:I know, I watch the Sydney thread, quite a lot get processed between 3-7 months. Does anyone know if they will close your case the day the deadline passes? Mine could be literally a day too late. I paid $70 and it's still taken a week for post (which IMO is BS). I don't know why they gave me such a short deadline knowing I reside in Canada. Other people said theirs was around 90 days. Needless to say, I will be mighty PO'd if they did something as extreme as that without even looking to see if the applicant acquiesced to their request. I didn't dilly dally, I sent it all off after 3 days as I had to contact QLD Transport, get notarized documents and figure out the easiest way to do it. I tried sending a case specific inquiry to Sydney almost a week ago with no response. The anxiety... May actually... Kill me...
That's a good perspective. What's happening is I'm sending all my paperwork to the bestie in Aus. She is going to take my stuff to QLD Transport for the traffic history and she's going to attach a money order and send off AFP for police clearance. Both postal addresses are hers so when she has both certificates I gave her an addressed envelope as well as a letter to put inside that says 'These are the requested documents for UCI:###### File: ######' etc. She'll overnight these (I asked her to take a photo of postal receipt when she does so I can forward it to CIC immediately to let them know that it's on it's way) the day she gets them. Processing of both certs takes approximately 2 weeks and I've already lost over a week and a half. I'm staying positive, I'm sure it will all work out. And once this is all fixed up hopefully I'll have a nice, short wait to make me feel better haha.Patience09 said:Benjis, I doubt they would just close your application like that. I don't know, but just make sure to keep the lines of communication open with them.
