Hi there! My husband also received that same email after 5 days, he was sent that email. I was posting questions here what an aor looks like-if it's a letter type sent or email ;D i guess we got that apr then. Hope everything works out well for all of us

Do you know the date the application was received by CIC in order to make the formula work on the spreadsheet?

Thank you! Hubby didn't track his package when he sent it to CIC, we don't have an idea if when is the exact date it arrived to CIC, but the courrier told him it will be delivered in 2days. So probably it arrived dec 8, then AOR is dec 10. Yes hopefully everyone will received AOR soon!

i think AOR means that they've rcvd your aqpplication and thats it pretty much

Hey what if we didnt send enough or the right documents do they cancell the application or tells us to submit what we've missed ?

I think I've heard stories of both happening but I could be wrong. Maybe if something extremely important is missing they will return the application.

I think the key to a smoother processing is to submit completely filled out forms with complete attachments.

Hi bath, don't worry, you'll probably get it anytime now. My husband was contemplating sending our documents via xpresspost but i insisted on the private courier. I've had a bad experience with xpresspost. Last 2010, he sent me my engagement rig via xpresspost (we were on LDR by the way ) he sent me the package july of 2010 so that it'll reach me on time for my bday the succeeding month.... Guess when i got it? Last week of november 2010. We feared that it had gotten lost. When he called to follow up, they cannot provide details as to the whereabouts of the package. That experience made me insist on using a private courier for thesending of our documents to Mississauga lest i won't be able to sleep at all. Lol ;D

It says in the e- mail that cic received the documents last dec 11. But then it seems that they've just updated us last dec 17.
