:( Still no movement on my file, December 2013 applicant. My MP contacted CIC and they said the reason my application is delayed is because I sent in a request for T4 and Notice of Assessment for 2014 late, this is not true, it was sent within the time frame requested. MP said they have asked about timeline i.e. when should I expect my application to be complete and they said they'll get back to me this week.

Hope they contact you soon.

I don't know what's wrong with CIC.....I am a Jan 2014 applicant
They took 13 months for my second review and completed the assessment on Dec 3 2015 and till date I don't have a PPR

Contacted MP and received email from CIC that the decision was positive and it is ready for VISA...GCMS states the same ....

Frustrating.......... :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

This is a good thing is it not? When did you receive the e-mail?

it is a good thing to know it's almost done.....but again nothing is certain until we get it...

Just the unusual delay after DM makes me little nervous :(

It's my MP who received the email on Dec 7th stating that the file is ready for VISA

oh, I understand. Are you from a Visa exempt country or did they request your passport yet? Have you received any other e-mails or document requests from them throughout the process? Maybe they don't have the correct e-mail on file?

Hi Akil,

I know your wait is killing you and almost destroyed your all plannings, can I ask what is their concern in your application when you order and saw your GCMS notes ? I dont know how much I can be correct but from my opinion you should send the documents what ever their concern is. Mean while try all sources go to MP, send case specific enquiry, send e-mail to CIC ask if there is anything required which can speed up the process.
I dont know the reason why your file is on hold, but you can try all these ways. Hopefully they will look your file and will made some final and good decision on your application.

Best of luck.

The below is the email i got today for the case specific i made last month >:( >:( >:(
Did any one got the same kind of email ? if so after how long does it take to get an update or to get processed ?????

I am not from Visa exempt country and they haven't requested my PPR yet.
I did received add docs for T4 and NOA back in SEP 2014 but it was reviewed in the month of NOV 2015... I call them every day and they have the correct email and contact info...

Hi Akil,

Sorry to hear that, but definitely they are reviewing your profile with concerns. You must know what was that from GCMS notes. If you did rectify all their concerns, then you just need to wait and ask to God. He will definitely help you lately may be as he has planned for you better than you or any one can think. I know this wait is very painful.

Best of luck.

I got RPRF request yesterday and received medical request this morning :D :D. I've paid RPRF, will book medicals on Monday.

I think my MP had everything to do with it, he did a ministerial inquiry on my file 2 weeks ago.

Any one still waiting from 2013

Contact your MP and ask them to do a ministerial inquiry on your application. They'll gladly do it because it's way over the processing time, even the current 17 months not to mention that at the time of application it was only 13 months.
