Hello All,

Finally I have received my passport with COPR. I was secret admirer of this forum. thanks to every for keeping positive and high spirit on this forum.
My case scenario may be more complicated and interested by quite a few people. I started my divorce process(Got married in india, marriage didn't work and applied for divorce in canada) just before filing my PR application and it took more than 1 year to get my divorce here in canada.

Application filed: 17 Dec 2013.
Application Recvd: 19 Dec 2013.
Medicals Recvd: 15th May 2014.
Medicals Sent: 16th May 2014.
Medicals Updated on Website: 10 Jun 2014
Requested Divorce documents 1: 7th July 2014
Replied saying that my divorce is still under process.
RPRF request: 15 July 2014
RPRF sent: 23rd July 2014.
Requested Divorce Documents 2: 8th Oct 2014
Replied to the above request with the same reply I have sent for first request.
Divorce orders received: Dec 18th 2014.
Obtained divorce certificate sent: Jan 20th 2015.
Passport Request: 23rd Feb 2015.
Passport Sent: 27th Feb 2015
Received with Copr : 18th March 2015.
I have clerical error on COPR with last entry and original entry. I have prepared legal letter to make corrections or amendments at POE immigration officers.

I will be landing today. and Will share the experience.

Hello E. Kawas,

As 'Eligibilty' has not been started about 1 month back when the GCMS notes were issued, it seems there is significant delay in processing as you have last supplied the required docs in Sept 2014. You are entitled now to request status of you application from CIC as you have no action pending on your end.

As your application is past 13 months processing time, you could send an email to CIC stating that the 13 months processing time has already passed and that you request CIC to advise status of your PR application.

2ndly what is the next review date stated in the GCMS notes? If this is close by you might get MR soon. Good luck!

the CIC website doesnt show the physicians registered for e-medical system, how do I know which doctor is eligible to use the e-medical system in order to speed up the process?

Most Panel physicians have e-medical, you can try and call them and ask, I'm happy for you,

Finally got my passport Request after 17 months of waiting. Thank you all for your help during the process.

Timeline is:

Application rec'd Dec 20th
Started processing your application on July 8, 2014
Medical Requested May 26th, 2015
Request for RPRF May 27th 2015
Decision made on June 16th, 2015

Not sure if there is anybody left from Dec 2013 that is still stuck in the whole PR process besides me, but I thought I'd share this small step in the process.

Today when I logged into MyCIC to check the status I saw that they finally changed my mailing address which my lawyer requested in February - It took them 5 month to do this - 5 MONTH !!!!!!! What a joke !!!!!!!
But it made me wonder: Did somebody actually picked up the file and started woking on it???? What are your thoughts on this?

Today my Ecas changed from "app received" to "in process" and a third line was added as well: "started processing your app on February 2014" (took them over a year to add this line, duh)

Let's see if those changes really mean some movement or if somebody just happened to updated my Ecas ...
