Did my landing today at Rainbow Bridge, Niagara Falls. It was a busy day today, but I got it done.

Not many questions asked, just proof of address, work permit etc.

I am now officially a landed permanent resident of Canada.

I wonder why did they ask the proof of address? did you give a different address for PR cards other than the one in ECAS??

They asked for proof of address to confirm it is the same I provided in my application. This is where the PR card will be mailed to.
I started a new job just after I got my PPR and I used my new work address to have my passport to return to me, so yes, it was different to the one on ECAS and that is probably why they asked. Because the immigration officer wanted to know where I worked and when I started - so that explains it. I had all my paperwork in order so it was processed immediately.

change your cellphone account address, to the one in Toronto as well as your bank statement address - you could give those. If a worst case scenario, I would give my new work address, if you do take up an offer and carry your employment offer agreement with you as well. hope this helps
