Hi yall,

I'm new to this forum, been reading a few posts and happy to have found this thread.

My beautiful wife and I got the AOR on January 24th 2013.

I'm Québécois and my wife is Thai, our application is processed from the Singapore office.

Are there any others with similar case like us which have received any further letters following AOR?

CDNMOM, here is our Timeline:

Dec 19th 2012: Letter to me (the sponsor) from CIC in Canada confirming they received our application

Jan 17th 2013: Letter to me confirming CIC Canada accepts me as sponsor

Jan 24th 2013: Letter to my wife from CIC Singapoor that they received our Application

March 28th 2013: Confirmation from Quebec that they accept me as sponsor and receival of CSQ certificate. (The date of the approval on the CSQ certificate is actually February 15th 2013, I received the letter a month letter because there was a post mix-up either in their system or the first time they tried to send to me).

QUESTIONS:
1- I was told by Quebec that Singapore might contact us to ask us to send either a copy or the original CSQ certificate to them, if so how would they contact me? email and/or post and/or phone?

2- Similar to the question above, how would Singapore typically contact us to give us the decision. I am hoping they will at least send email because my present adress in Thailand is kind of complicated, and I made the application from Malaysia (was working there then), so I would hope they would not only try to post the result and risking losing it!

Can you let me know when mailed your application as well as when the medicals were done?

I am sure Singapore will request at the least a copy of the CSQ.... All correspondence from Singapore so far from us has been through email .

Are you applying yourself for Qc? Actually Qc are supposed to send Singapore a copy of the CSQ themselves right after they aprove me as sponsor...

Has Singapore send you another email than confirmation of receipt?

Yes, I made the adress change on the CIC website, the change appears on my wife's login, but not mine.

Medicals were done on October 11th 2012.

We mailed on December 6th 2012.

No Mr.Rock we are not going through QC... so I really am not sure how the CSQ works
All correspondence now will be directed to your wife... the principal applicant
It is a good thing that the address is showing updated for her

I believe we have 3 applicants doing outland for Thai spouses and 1 doing an inland application... so for the outland applicants we are all within a couple of weeks of each other... so hopefully if one gets word the other two will follow behind quickly.

The first stage on an inland application takes much longer to receive approval... I am hoping they get word soon on their stage 1

hi guys...december application rin kami..december 24 nila n received sa canada then pinadala sa pinas ng january 17 then kakakuwa lang ng misis ko yung PPR via email niya at email ko!!!!!
