Finally got my AOR! And medical together! Got the email at 10:12pm last night.

They received my application on 22nd December. I got my local MP to inquiry on my behalf last week - I really think that helped. I still can't log into ecas which is really weird.

Yes that's right - sent to Ottawa. Medical booked at Broadview for during the week.

how long before i get my medical and the whole process. i applied through a lawyer so how do i find out where my file is transferred to. will calling cic help

Any other updates from the Dec applicants? I'm thinking of requesting my GCMS notes, but don't really know the difference between CAIPS and that.

My file was received on may 1,2011. Sent it end of December 2010. Medicals was requested in mid-march 2012. Sent it right after but have not heard back. Any idea how long this wait will last?

My ecas is still only showing my application was received on Dec 21st. Wonder when its update o in process and medicals received.

Hey everyone,
When do we pay the Right of Permanent Residency fee? Will they request it?

Aiden,

I sent my RFPR fees with my original application so I'm not sure when they would request it. From what I recall, it is with the PPR that they ask you to submit it, as it's usually sent to the VO processing you application, from where the eventual PPR will arrive from.

Any other updates from Dec applicants regardingly MR/ AOR?

My medicals should have been received on April 25th, but my ecas still only shows that my file was received on Dec 21st. I emailed CPP Ottawa asking if they could confirm my medicals have been received, and i received a pretty quick response in a matter of minutes saying that my medicals were received, and are being assessed by the officer in charge of my file.
