I don't know how this works anymore. :o

My app was received at Buffalo on Dec 21st 2011, Draft was cashed on Feb 9th, and I received my AOR on April 4th from CPP Ottawa, and I also got the Medical Request with it.

I've been following quite a few December applicants, and I can say the vast majority have not received their Medical Requests, and for the extremely late December applicants, they're still waiting for their AOR.

Someone made a good point, that maybe single applicant files take quicker to process. Another point someone brought up was that they observed applicants going via the undergraduate and 1 yr experience were faster than the applicants applying with just 2+ years of experience.

Not saying any of this is right mind you, just sharing some interesting thoughts. Here's one of my own, my application that I sent off in December 2011 was my second time applying. I applied previousy in August 2011, but my application was rejected in October due to one of my job letters not describing sufficient amount of duties for my NOC category. I took care of that this time... I'm wondering if the reason my medical was sent quicker was because of my previous app? I don't know... but its very puzzling.

Yes aba_bab. Your thought is absolutely correct. Since they already had all of your background and others checks finished in your earlier application which is not so long ago, they didn't bother to look at all of those and hence you have received you mediclas along with the AOR. Anyway, Thanks for shoring your thoughts and Good luck with your application!! :)

Thanks,

And one more thing that is puzzling me, My ecas still only shows Application received. When I click on it, all it says is Permanent Residence in the heading. Nothing else, no dates no nothing.

So it looks like its pretty common to get rejected and re-apply...

My husband is not currenlty in Canada but he graduated from Canada, should i be worried?

I didnt recive my AOR yet and i am a Late Dec applicant.... is anyone in the same boat as myself??? if you are a couple and you recived ur AOR & Medical request, how did you guys handle the medical while your spouse is overseas??

Any updeated from Dec applicants?

No updates frm my end

nothing from my end...app sent on 23rd Dec and reached on 27 Dec 2011. Draft cashed out on 21 Feb 2012.

My friend applied on Feb 2012 and received AOR last friday :(

The creation of permanent resident applications in our database along with the mailing of the acknowledgement of receipt letter is taking a minium of 30 weeks.
Any application submitted without the required documents and information will be returned to the applicant.

I have a question for you guys. I did not attach police verification from India when i sent my application in Dec 2011. I got this document last month, so should i mail this document or wait for them to notify me and then send?

Thanks
