It seems sometimes ecas gets updated on a timely basis and for others not so much. I got PPR already and sent in but ecas still only says application received. Even notice of med has disappeared off the ecas. strange.

Still nothing?? Man this is frustrating!! Maybe this weekend will be the weekend for you or maybe the officer on your file just doesn't update regularly. Hopefully your wife just gets her PP with the Visa!

I told you over the phone the other day right...when everyone's getting AOR's, i didnt get, When everyone's getting sponsorship approval by email...I got it on paperback...and everyone's seeing the "Medical Results Rec'd" on ecas and I dont see that....

Strange file... :)

Hi guys,

I got an email today telling me that the file has been transferred from Buffalo to Seattle for further processing (3/20/2012).

Please update the spreadsheet accordingly :)

Hi y'all !

I'm new at this forum and I think I've just found the right topic.

I sent my application Dec 20th and as I could track it with the Fedex number it got there on Dec 23th.

Still no word!! No e-mail or even debit on our credit card.... :(

Does this means bad news?

'Cause there is a good chance my husband and I did not get a spot on the NOC.

There is no definite answer to your question. It depends on the completeness of your application, or the visa officer processing your application. Refer to the canadian immigration website for standard processing times. Some get their visa in as little as 4 months, some wait a little longer than 6 months. So it depends.

Hi hellen.chris. Welcome to the forum. I don't think it means bad news. CIC received our application on 23rd December and on 22nd Feb we received an email to confirm they had received our file. Since then we have not heard a word. We are applying for a Spousal Visa.
