:o Well obviously my wife is not be responsible she lost the COPR already and now don't know what to do OMG she is so irresponsible. So does that mean she can't come here now and we have to do it all over again or what can we do about her losing her COPR

Hi everyone!

I'm one of the applicant on DEcember 2011. My husband is a Canadian Citizen and I'm from Philippines. WE submit our application on December 23 , 2011. My husband got a letter from the CPS - M last FEbruary 2012 saying that they got our application and they forwarded it to the Canadian Embassy in Manila. I got a letter , I think that was the PPR saying that I need to submit the documents like the Appendix A and B, Visa photgraphs, original NSO Advisory on Marriages and my passport. I was wondering how long normally takes when they sent you back your passport with your visa? Does it mean we're at the last stage of having my Visa?? So that means I dont need an interview too? I hope not though.

Hope to know more and share info guys! Good luck to us! Let us hope and pray for the best on our application! ;)

Hi, if you got your PPR, it means you are on the final stage for your VISA :) My wife got her PPR last week (she's from Philippines also) and I think you can expect your VISA in 45 to 60 days (that's just an estimation based on other PH cases I saw here in the past). For the interview, it'S possible that it will be waived, but there's no guarantee at this point, it's not because you have your PPR that you don't need an interview.

Hi Guys.... Im January applicant and already sent my Passport together with some docs to CEM last March 27, 2012.....Its been two weeks already & as I've check my E-Cas same status.... >:( Does anyone from December applicant got the visa already?

do some peoples ecas never change? mine STILL just says application recieved on 28th december. i have sponsorship apprval but it feels like im never gonna see medical recieved or in process!!!

WOW unbelievable ! Yes, she should contact embassy immediately and explain the situation. I'm sure there is a procedure to get a new COPR. No I don't think you start over. But you may need to sign another form or whatever to officially request another COPR.

I think several of us Dec applicants to Manila have no updates on our ECAS other than "application received" and "medical results received". Any day now I expect some of us should receive DM.

As stated receiving "PPR" often means 45 to 60 days to get visa, but not necessarily. So you should not count on this too much. Use it as a best case scenario but be prepared in case there may be other things they may require as they process your application. An interview also may still be required but generally only if they are not sure about something in your application and need you to clarify it in person.

best of luck to you. Hope we all receive positive news soon.

Yeah good luck to you us and to you too! :)

Shower us our visa!! May the good Lord shine upon us! :)

Oh wow, I am in shock. After all this waiting, we have just heard that my wifes application to sponsor me has been approved. Submitted 23 December 2011 and processed through Ottawa Pilot. I thought they had somehow forgotton about us. So my papers are now on their way to London. Please let this go smoothly!!!

Pinklady, I can at last ask you, please could you update the spreadsheet :)
