Sis mistletoes, I have a Q. Did you follow the checklist of the cic? I'm just wondering if we'll be asked for more docs by the VO coz what we submitted were totally based on the checklist and their guide. Do you know what AOM is? And appendix A? Some people who got their pprs were required to submit either one depending on the case. I have no idea what these are coz I go by IMM doc name.

good morning everyone.

I can't open the url for the spread sheet , Am I already added to it?

thanx

Just got an email from cic saying they received my application on 28th December. I sent it on 23rd. It was emailed to my husband and said we have started your application for permanent residence in Canada. But it's me that's coming to Canada so is it right that the email says that? I know he is sponsoring me but it just sounded strange with it saying your application for permanent residence.

Also kiwi can you Please add me to the spreadsheet. My visa office is London and I sent it 23rd and try received it 28th December. Thanks!

Good luck to everyone!! We will make it one day! :)

Yes it all normal that they say " your" application. Because in a way it is YOUR application. Meaning your husband as a sponsor, he is part of it as well, because the bottom line is the permanent residency application. And thats what he mailed to them on your behalf in a way. Hope you understand.

Yes Nessa, we are neck and neck!! Is your spouse/partner currently living in Mexico? My hubby is actually living in the U.S. (undocumented). So if they call him for an interview, he will have to go to D.F. If they don't call him for an interview we don't know if he can just come straight to Canada or if he would still have to go to Mexico first.

Yes my husband is in Mexico and I am here living with him right now, I have been here for almost 3 years on a student visa! But it will expire in August!

Hopefully they won´t call him for an interview and he can just go straight to Canada! It would be a big hassle to have to go back to Mexico!

Hi everyone.

A new week ahead, hoping that all December applicants receive their approvals. Then the wait for PPRs begin..then visa. :D

Actually, he hasn't been back to Mexico in 11 years so he sort of wants to go there to visit his fam when he gets his visa. So we will see how it plays out.

Hey Nessa, by the way, how are things in Mexico now? are in D.F.? My husband keeps hearing rumblings about the crime and all (he is actually from Acapulco). I have been reading that D.F. is a bit of a "safe house" area in which the narcos have called a truce so there isn't that much crime there (just typical big-city crime that you would find in the rest of North America). But sometimes, as you probably know, perception and reality are two different things.
