Hello all,
My daughter was born dead here in canada. She was premature and had heart issue so we teinated pregnancy after 7 months. We do have all the documents i.e death certificate, burial information. Do i have to enter her in my application in family history section? Also as she died and we don't have any other kid so do i mention her in children section?

Terribly sorry to hear that.

I imagine there would be no need to include her in this application. The system does prompt one to provide information about parents and siblings (living or deceased) but I don't think that extends to a Canadian child who isn't alive when you file the application.

I would think that it won't be necessary but no harm in including that information in the LOE along with your post ITA application.

Thank you Asivad.
So i should not include any information about her in my application?

So sorry to hear that . . . You would not include her as a co-applicant on the application. But you should mention her on the "Additional Family Information" form, and include copies of the birth/death certificates.

Thank you for feedback. I will enter her detail in additional family details just in case if they required.

Hi All, my application was sumbitted on 21 aug 2018 and is under background check process for around three months now. I provided my complete family information then. Unfortunately my eldest brother departed from this world recently. How do I update that status. Do i need to inform CIC of that. WHat documents they will need for it.
would appreciate if anyone can respond to that
