I applied on the 2nd of December 2021 for my son. Yet awaiting an update

updates... anyone?

Today , march 14, received PPR for me and my son

Spouse and child trv
Application: Dec 21 (New IRCC portal)
Medicals: Upfront
BIL: Dec 22
Biometrics Completed: Dec 29
No updates after that.

Most of the November applicants are getting decision these days, hopefully we are next

Biometrics: 30th Dec
Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility
You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes
We do not need additional documents
You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes
We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

This is the current status. Haven't got any updates on this for more than a month now. I had applied for a business visa. The dates in my invite letter have expired. is this an issue?

I read here that sometimes they do not change the eligibility status and directly issue PPR. I hope thats the case with us ,
