Debt in Other Country

Hi,

When i was staying in Australia, i had some debt on my credit cards. After coming to US i tried to contact the bank but with no luck. Now iam applying for canadian PR and want to take Police clearence from Australia. Will that effect my clearence certificate(Full Finger print and Name check)??? Will my Police Clearence be rejected???

Police clearence have nothing to do with your debt....its ok you can apply ..but i think you need only normal police clearence just name check without finger print.

You may run into issue if the bank in Australia files/lodges a police complaint.
