Dear Qorex
I have just done my medical, but my son 3years old did not answer the doctor when he was asked his name. My son is extremely shy.
Then the doctor asked ME and MY wife that whether my son has "SPEECH DELAY" .
We did not hard that term before. Then the Doctor reffered us to a CHILD SPECIALIST.

The friendly Child specialist Doctor was very friendly with my son, he spoke several words with him.

The Specialist wrote a report as follows: " All developemnts of the child is normal, he is shy and has SLIGHT SPEECH DELAY.

My medical is sent and delivered to SINGAPORE VISA OFFICE over a week.

The Junior doctor said that all reports are OK, but regarding the child they have put "B" on the medical report and mentioned the child has " SLIGHT SPEECH DELAY"

Dear brother is this a BIG Problem on our IMMIGRATION????

We asked many friends , ALL SAID this "SPEECH DELAY" does not require any HOSPITAL TREATMENT and will become normal when the child get to 4 or 5 years of age.

Dear brother thank you very much for your EXPERIENCED and valuable comments.

Just last few facts for your kind attention.

With medical request they have asked for 1: My relative's last six months bank statements to prove his continous presence in CANADA
2: landing Fee for ME and SPOUSE.

After 5 days they have emailed me to submit ** Police Clearence certificate from UK, which I did not submit with the final documents
as I left UK in 1994 after my Graduation. but submitted my Local, Bangladesh Police
Report.

I have submited * Relative's bank statesments and HIS continous employment letter (2005 till present)from 'BMO" with the visiting card of the Bank manager who signed the employment letter. so they CIC can varify easily.
And also submited "Police Clearence form UK. and LANDING FEE as well. And finally Medical.
JOB already varified. OK.

Within normal situation SHOULD THEY ask for any other papers??? I know my security MUST BE OK. And My brother is a CANADIAN Citizen SINCE 2005, working in a BANK for the last five years. THAT TIME when he MIGRATED his security check was clear.
My Proof of Landing FUND is kept safely since the application launched.

Dear QORAX, Brorther should I be Thinking for IMMIGRATION ISSUE. or FURTHER INTERVIEW????

OR SHOULD I be PLANNING FOR MY DREAM JOURNEY TO CANADA.

Thanking you for your KIND ATTENTION.

As I see it, everything seems to be fine & there might not be any requirement for an Interview. U should be getting the PPR in a couple of months.

Relax!

hi,

I have applied for PR inside Canada for myself, wife and my child who is now 2.5 years old and we went for medical exam after receiving an email from CIC to do so.

Our medical exam was fine but the physician noticed a speech delay for my 2.5 years old child and have taken a note of that in her medical report to CIC and have asked me if I have any report from paediatrician and speech delay for my son and I told her that he was checked by paediatrician 3 months ago and every thing was fine except a speech delay for which the paediatrician recommended a preschool.

I contacted the paediatrician and obtained an official report from her about my son in which she wrote the following:

She checked my child 3 months ago when he was 2 tears and 3 months old and that he has an 'isolated'
speech delay, mainly expressive, which should 'simply' improve with time. The rest of his development was normal and there were no red flags for any developments challenges such as autism, and the paediatrician wrote as well that her recommendation for my child is a preschool speech & language services.

I have given this paediatrician report to the physician and she submitted it together with medical reports to CIC.

Is this a problem which can cause a rejection for our PR application? Is anyone aware of any similar cases and what happened there? My child is normal except a speech delay which will improve given that he is just 2.5 years old so still a baby.

Please I need help and advice.
