Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Dear Maaties and Qorax

I sent the following email to chc yesterday:
Dear Sir or Madam, I hope you are keeping well. The purpose of this mail is twofold:
a) to inform you that my consultant sent you my ISIF (Immigrant Summary Information Forms) on August 02, 2010; therefore, just wanted to know if they have been received?
b) to enquire about the current status of my application. Thanking in anticipation. Best regards

CHC replied me today:

The Immigrant Summary forms have not been placed on your file yet. Please note due to high volumes of mail received, documents may take several weeks to be placed on file. For this reason we ask that individuals use a courier or trackable mail as we do not confirm receipt of materials.

Current status: Routine background checks will be performed. We will contact you once we are ready to proceed to the next stage of processing
.

What does it mean by 'Routine background checks will be performed'??????????

As far as remember, they send medicals once the background check is over and send PPR once the security is cleared.....so Does it mean that they will start the background check in future , once they receive the ISIF and if yes how much more thime is likely to be taken for the PPR request

Your b/ground checks r already on. It's not stopped. The Summary Form was part of the "ongoing" process. It's also a good sign that things r moving well & in the right direction/timeframe. Relax!

CHC is also right in stating that it takes a bit of time to place docs received in our files, post landing@despatch/delivery. However, rest assured our papers r seldom lost or misplaced. Give it some more time & things will move... your way!

Thanks very much
Well my consultant has provided me the tracking no.
Should i try getting the scan copy of ISF and forward it to the immigration section via web-form?

Does it help?

Thanks yet again

No, don't forward anything to them any more. Just look at the tracking number to see if they had received it.
They may take a while to open it because they have much work.

My consultant sent me the tracking no.I checked but this is wrong as the delivery a/c to this tracking no. was made back in June 2010.

what should I do?

I've already contacted them but didn't get any reply from them.

What I hope is they sent it via normal post and not the recorded post.

Plz. advise

Thanks and regards

Well as long as they sent it, it should be okay. There is no way for CIC to know whether they sent it or not, because they get a lot of mail and take time to open it. Ask your consultant how he sent the ISF and see if he has a tracking number for that. If not, then just wait it out i guess.

Caution.
Your consultants were being a*sholes by not sending such an important doc by courier. And possibly they haven't sent is at all till this day (their wonky Tracking No. being the causal alarm).

U have opined rightly. Scan that doc, write an explanatory letter & send it to your VO in ONE Pdf File asap, either thru their direct mail ID or the CIC web form.

Don't delay.
Qorax

Dear QORAX
Thank you very much

Well I contacted the consultant..she apologised and gave me the right tracking no.
I checked the tracking no. online
it says....
Your item with reference ZW525929121GB was delivered from our WEST LONDON Delivery Office on 05/08/10

This doesn't seem good because the delivery was made on 5th of Aug. while chc wrote me an e.mail and mentioned that IMF must be reached by 04th of Aug. 2010.

What should I do?

I have already got the IMIF from her...should I send them with an explanation and stating that my consultant did this and not me

How may this late delivery of one day will affect my case??
I think now my case will be further delayed

That shouldn't be a problem, Nomi.
Yet send that scanned one as well, to be on the safer side, along with an explanatory note.

Dear Qorx and maaties..my father is agriculturist and sold the crops..as a return he gave me money for bank statement but the matter is that i am making bank statment just 15 days before submitting application...do u have any ideas correct me on following..

can i give current date bank certificate if so then after submitting the file can i withdraw some money for my use or not..

do the funds should be in local currency equivalent to the canadian dollors (11082)

appreciate ur response
mrshah

That is fine but sometimes they want 6months. Statements from 15 days prior is okay.
You should always keep the required money, incase they ask for new statement with transaction level data like withdrawal and deposit. Remember, you are supposed to take that amount of money with you to Canada.
it can be in any currency.
