Repected experts,

If there is something wrong with my below question or if I have done something wrong please let me know. I have posted below post twice for the last few days and there is no reply at all.

My apologies for being pushy, but my situation forces me to act so.

Dear Leon, Msafiri and other respected experts,

Please help me with TRP. You guys provide reliable and helpful information.

As the TRP seems to be the only option to bring my non-PR baby this to very kindly request you provide some details on the TRP. Our visa post is Embassy of Canada in Moscow.

1. What is the processing time of the TRP for the child ? I understand there is probably standard processing duration for TRP processing in each visa post, but I mean what is the average time it takes in the Moscow post from the date of application until TRP is issued for the child ?

2. What is the minimum and maximum duration TRP is issued for ?

3. TRP extension. Leon mentioned that it depends on the reasons you provide when you request extension. But taking our case, let assume we got my child'd TRP approved and we got her here. Before expiry of her TRP we will request an extension and our reason would be that it is going to be hardship for the small child to be separated from her family which can affect her health indeed. What else do you think can be the reason while requesting TRP extension ?

4. If TRP extension is approved and we made our 730 days can our daughter stay in Canada when we start her sponsorship process ?

And finally, please share a link with the Moscow post TRP proccesses, application forms and procedures related to TRP.

Thanks

This is a forum where people offer time and information for free. Sometimes it may take several days or even weeks for the right person to come along and answer your questions. TRPs aren't that common and the process varies from VO to VO. You're specifically asking about the Moscow VO - so don't expect an immediate answer. If you need an immediate answer because you are under pressure - please hire an immigration consultant.

It's also considered to be bad forum etiquette (i.e. rude) to keep re-posting the same questions again and again. To be honest, people who do this are less likely to get answers.

You either need to be patient or hire a lawyer who can respond to you immediately.

To answer your questions:

1) You should contact the Moscow VO with your questions. I think the chances are low that someone will come along who has gone through the TRP process through this specific VO.

2) I believe they are typically issued for a period of six months.

3) I don't know. Hopefully someone who has submitted an extension can comment.

4) If she is still in Canada after 730 days, then sure - you can apply to sponsor her for PR. You will have to keep extending the TRP if you want her to remain in Canada while the PR application is being processed.

Scylla on point as to the apparent delay in response.

Posters offer their time here for free and with the provision of information based on their knowledge, experience or those of others. We have our own busy schedules which get even more busy when the weather improves. Some posters spend more time with their family, some travel etc.

Often a delay will ensue if the topic is unusual or falls in the 'discretionary' or 'exceptional' aspect of the immigration legislation. A constructive response would require detailed review and knowledge of the IRPA, CIC Operational Bulletins and case law. All this takes time...if you want an answer promptly or to a tight deadline then the forum may and will disappoint you and you should seek formal legal representation but expect to pay major coin for this. Understandably this is not easy when you are struggling to re-settle into Canada.

Please don't let your desperation and frustration cloud your judgement that any delay is personal...trust me its not. I've responded on your original thread if its any help.

Dear Scylla and Msafiri,

Please accept my apologies for being insistent and I absolutely appreciate the job you guys are doing for the people like me and thousands of others. The situation with my child is indeed making me think and talk inadequately and I hope this horror, which I am guilty for, is going to end sometime.

One more time, this is to express my heartfelt gratitude and my sincere apologies for being pushy.
