I applied TRV Visa in Dubai 1 week before and today I received this email from CIC regarding send your original passport please help me what does its means site approved or not.
This refers to your application for a Canadian temporary residence visa, study permit and/or work permit. In order for the embassy to continue the processing of your application, they require the following documents:
File number mentioned on the subject line on your final print out of this NOTIFICATION!): Valid passport or travel document for yourself. This must be received at this office within 30 days of this request.

They require your original passport(s).

Apllied on paper 27 december vfs islamabad pakistan
Passport submitted and Biometrics done same day.
valid USA 5 years multiple
valid UK 10 years multiple
2 previous shengien visas
1 previous USA visa
3 previous UK visas
only one time shengien visa refused in 2014 due to not fully hotel booking.
Travelled USA in 2013 for 20 days and UK for one week
Travelled USA in 2015 for 10 days and UK for one week.
last five year travel history only which they asked for on travel history form.
Travelled to Germany,Switzerland,France and Holland,USA and UK China before 2013 also and all visits are less then two or three weeks.
What are the chances to get a trv.
Its now 36 days and online status shows
we are processing ur application and will inform when the decision is made.

You have good travel history and that will certainly help for a TRV approval.

Hope you have submitted other evidence/explanations for your purpose of visit + strong ties to Pakistan (employment, property ownership, dependent family members, etc) + good financial situation + a travel history explanation where you scanned these visas/previous entry stamps to other countries.

yes all documents except property cos they did not take but
I gave my company profile as a self emplyed construction company
last 3 months bank statement around 15 hundred thousands rupees
3 years income tax returns
hotel booking for one week
travel booking as I am going to USA on 1 march for 2 weeks and then 15 to 21 March canada Toronto hotel booking photo copies of previous visas and stamps,
Family wife and 4 kids which also travelled with me in summer vacations to Europe and USA in 2014
They also now have their 2nd usa 5 years multi visa upto 2023 but they are not going with me usa this time or canada.
no relative in canada but many fruends and relatives in usa.

You may want to scan any documents that VFS did not accept.... and email them to the Abu Dhabi visa office to be included in your application

from pakistan its almost 40 days
mostly ultuple upto validity of passport

No I applied from Dubai. But I received this email request for Passport after 7 days of submission my application.
So can you help me about this. Is it approved or not???
