Hello,

I would like to know when is the last date for applying colleges for September 2015 intake for PGDM. I know the dates will depend on colleges but i want to know whether they will accept application after their scheduled last date?. Im kind of worried because my ielts exam is scheduled for 11th july.

Can i make it for this september intake?

Thankfully
Sammy

Hello

As you know its depend on colleges but I will suggest you to apply now, tell them about your Ielts Exam .. They will give you a conditional letter ... After your ielts send them your test report form they will provide you unconditional letter ..

Where you from ? Its depend on visa office ... For some countries visa processing time is really short but for Pakistan from i belong its 12 weeks so give your complete profile to get better advice from other members also ...

Hello f_karar,

Thanks for the reply.

Iam from India. So can i apply for visa with the conditional offer letter?

Thankfully,
Sammy

yes you can apply for visa with a conditional offer letter but it is highly recommended that you do so with an unconditional offer letter if possible

Hello haider,

Thank u for letting me know.

I have one more doubt and it ll be good if got cleared. i heard about a fairleigh dickinson university vancouver which is having a MAS course. Is it worth to do that (FDU) or going for a PGDM in any good colleges?. Iam worried about the reputation of that university.

Waiting for a reply.

Thanks in advance

You are late to start checking university reputations, better plan for january if need to evaluate.

If selected your institution, apply for an offer letter, as soon as you get it apply for a GIC account

I agree with GT0911 completely that its too late for checking the reputation of universities you should aim for January 2016 and a college /university with good reputation

Thank u GTO911 and Haider for helping me.

I will aim for the January intake so that i ll get some time to do some research regarding the reputation of the universities.

Can u suggest any good colleges for doing a 2 year Post graduate diploma in management field?. Good in the sense of facilities, faculty and also availability of part-time jobs. Any province is ok for me if the college is worth.

Hoping for a reply.

Sammy

normally colleges Allow 1 year for PGD but you can also search for it for better result.
I will suggest you to not choose toronto.. go for BC They have good environment and good colleges.

Btw whats your profile ?

Hi varun_123,

Thanks for the fast reply.

My profile is:

B.tech(CSE) : 6.8/10

10th and 12th: 80 %

Work Experience: 5 months(Currently working as software developer)

I mentioned about 2 yr course because i need 3 year stayback visa. Which college is good in BC? I saw douglas college is having a 2 yr PGDM course. But i donno about the reputation.

Can u please suggest me a good option? I need to shift to management jobs. And also want to try for PR.

Hopefully,
Sammy

well your profile is perfect for IT education, but i believe that you must not go for management as VO can get confused which may leads to rejection,
Otherwise you have to make a strong SOP (if you really intend to go for management) stating that why management over IT.
Show strong ties with your homecountry while filing Visa.
And dont forget to get recommendation letters from your university/college, Your HR. CIC dont mention to submit that papers but they are very important.

Hi,

Thanks varun for your valuable tips.

I will take care of all things you mentioned.

If im not going for management then i ll be left with the option of doing masters in compute science. As i said i want to shift from programming, Do u know about any masters course related to IT but not including programming and networking?? Anything like IT Management.

Regards,
Sammy

In BC, Canada International students opt for colleges like, langara college, selkrik college, douglas college.
moreover you can also go for universities, like KPU, TRU, SFU, UVi.

these all are well known colleges/universities.
I am not really sure about the particular course like IT management. but you can search at your own in those colleges/universities.
