Wanted to share with you my positive experience for my 2013 Toyota Sienna which I imported from the US. The sienna toggle unfortunately allows you to switch off the daytime running lights. This did not pass inspection from Canadian Tire and they didnt know how to reconfigure. Toyota dealership was completely useless too - I called two dealerships and both advised that they dont know how to change the computer setting. Anyway, I found a very good auto repair shop - TJF Auto in Wolfdale Mississauga. I spent 130 bucks and they got the daytime running lights permanently set. Just google them. Hope this helps for folks importing Siennas.

Great update. Do you know what did they do for your Toyota? I am in Windsor with the same problem for 2014 Mercedes GLK. The Canadian Tire asked me to fix DLR. The vehicle since yesterday is at MB dealership and failed to do software refresh as of this morning, so they sent request for help directly to Germany.
