Days of residency for PR renewal

Hi, I got my PR on 5 Oct 2021 and after that I stayed in Canada for 7 months. My PR expires in June 2027 ( as I got my PR card very late). Now please tell me how many more days I should stay in Canada for my PR renewal in June 2027. When should I come and start staying in Canada. Before getting PR, I stayed in Canada for 3 years from 2018 onwards

2. My husband got his PR in June 2022 and he stayed for hardly a week after getting the card. His PR card expires in August 2027. He stayed in Canada before getting PR for 6 months from January 2018 to July 2018.

Kindly advise how many more days he and I have to stay.

If you and your husband want stop worrying about counting the days needed to renew your PR cards, then start counting your days to be eligible for applying citizenship instead.

The date on your PR card is not relevant to your RO. You must spend 730 days in the 5 years from your landing date so 5 Oct 2021 to be compliant with your RO.

To maintain PR Status, a PR must reside in Canada for at least 730 days (2 years) within each and every rolling 5 year window. The 730 days do NOT need to be sequential.
