Daughter info from My Ex. not available

Hello Everyone,
i need help to find out what to do in my case as it's confusing.
I have a daughter from my first marriage, she's in her mother's custody and her mother is unwilling to cooperate to provide me with the needed information to fill in the application ( the Generic application of the federal stage ) what shall i do?
1) exclude her completely
2) provide only the available information ( that wouldn't complete the form ) as it should be

1) you don't have the option to exclude her. This is up to IRCC to decide.
2) you must include her but provide good proof that you have done your absolute best to comply. If the mother has sole LEGAL custody, IRCC will probably accept that and will agree to remove her from the application, notifying you that you will never be able to sponsor her in the future.
