Hi Paingh!

This is exactly my situation now. Assuming the time of your post, you already sorted this out. Can you advise me of what should I do? Should my son born here in Canada be included in our application or not? What kind of documentation did you use for him. We don't have any ID or passport for him. We only have his birth certificate. Please advise.

Same situation long time ago. Yes s/he needs to be included to count for the number of family members regarding the minimum funds required. The ID number is their birth certificate number. I cannot remember if I added my kid as accompanying or not. It was the option that I will not need to pay for a extra processing fee. During the application process, IRCC removed my kid from the application according to my notes. you can look into my posts history, I remember discussing this situation before. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for responding to my inquiry. This is really helpful. I'll go and use his birth certificate. Will keep fingers crossed that they won't ask for anythinh else.
