Dates "TO" Confusion

Good morning everyone,
I asked similar question before but I am still not sure about the answer.

Which date should I use as a Date "TO" in my background application referring to my current job and address?

Please help me!!!!

Just keep the date you are sending this application. They will later use the term "Lock in date" which means when your application is received.

Just a thought, is it maybe a better idea to just leave the TO field blank for ongoing job? Since putting the current date "could" mean that you left the job after that date?

In the past, I have alternated between leaving it blank and putting the current date but still not sure which is a better one...

Any thoughts?

put your work permit end date if you are still in Canada.

you shouldn't leave anything blank and need to be filled to the possible extent. so WP end date is the best bet for this and it worked umpteen times to all.
