Dates on police certificate

Hey experts,

Is it necessary to hv exact dates on PCC or years would work. Like is it fine if i get one from 1994 till date without having exact date or month. Actually this is how i have received from my home country. Though i have travelled alot during this period.
Plz guide.

Date is very important I guess.. I have seen some people who got refusal because they failed to count few days of stay in a specific country or PCC was issued prior to their exit from that country. I would say most of PCC refusal cases are due to this reason.


Having said that, Logically if there is no date or month mentioned in a Police clearance; it should be assumed that is from Jan 1st XXXX.
