Cheers. That was very detailed.

Actually, for my situation, we didn't have a major wedding celebration. We did, however, have a formal ceremony at the civil affairs bureau. We have pictures of my wife's side of the family...but that's it, since my parents were unable to attend...though I have explained all this...and they did come to visit a couple of months later...shouldn't be a problem, as it is not mandatory to have a full-on celebration.

But yes, we will ensure to include all the pictures we took, including pictures of our wedding rings.

Thanks for your help...and I also agree that candid shots should be included, so we will have one set of those from 2005-2012, in addition to our marriage and travel photos...

Cheers,
FS

We used the date on the jpeg image, then I put them in a slide show on powerpoint so there is 6 pictures per page and then entered the date and description under each picture. For vacations and trips we went on, I just titled the page with the destination and the date span we were there instead of each picture. Then I printed them out, all in date order. It was a little time consuming but not that bad, considering I work full time and am I have a six year old that i raise on my own, I was able to do it in a three evenings in total after my daughter was in bed.

We also included alot of candids that show us being real instead of a bunch of posed pictures, we also included alot of photos taken at our home together, so you can see that the background is the same ( I am not sure but seems to me that this will help with the common law claim to show we lived in the same house for quite some time).

I found it fun to put together and see the time line of our relationship and how it evolved, one of the few things I have taken joy out of putting together for immigration !
