Hello,

I am applying for permanent residence based on french.I got my CSQ already, PCC is done and forms are filled. The only thing I am missing is date of birth certificate.

I am really pissed off   at Indian system and the way they don't listen to your requests.I applied for DOB on 17th,August,2015 and still waiting for it. And there is no hope that it will be issued soon.I am in Canada and my WP started on this June.

should I go ahead and apply for PR with my 10th certificate, DOB certificate issued by Indian Consulate(Vancouver) and an explanation letter.

is it a good idea? or should I wait

Thanks

Was the birth certificate you obtained from the Vancouver consulate accepted by Quebec for your CSQ application? I'm guessing yes, because you got your CSQ. If not, what did you provide Quebec?

If yes, then go ahead with your PR application with the documents you mention.

How odd. You were lucky :). Birth certificate is listed as mandatory for QSW applicants.

If your 10th pass certificate has you name ,date of birth ,amd name of atleast one parent , then CiC accepts this as proof of birth .
