Date of birth Certificate Name Error - URGENT!!!!

A quick question guys....
My DOB certificate does not have my last name on it whereas my passport and all other documents do. I am filing for my PR application in the next 10 days. Do you think it will be a problem ? ??? If Yes, Please suggest what can be done here?

Will a newspaper cutting works as a supporting document stating my name change(it will be recent thought/not old)

If your DOB certificate has your parent's (either father / mother or both ) full name and if their names matches your last name on your passport, it will suffice. Newspaper cutting does not serve any purpose for CIC.

Andy2109 is correct.. Attach your 10 class school certificate as additional proof. That should have your father name, mother name & DOB..

First of all thanks for replying.
@ andy - my DOB certificate does not have father's or mother's full name (sir name) on it, neither mine.
@ bickyii - my 10th class certificate or 12th certificate also do not have my or my family full name on it.

Ok let me explain it to you guys and see if you have a solution to my problem. I would really appreciate it as it is already giving me a headache :'(

In my passport + high school certificates + DOB certificate etc my father and mother's name is M Singh & S Kaur respectively.
My name in my high school certificate & DOB certificate is D Singh but in my Passport and Diploma etc it is D Singh S (meaning that my last name was added to my name after my high school, right before coming to canada)

Now, all i am worried about is that my DOB certificate has my name contradicting to my passport and diploma only. Whereas my father name and mother name are same on all my documents throughout.

Please advise. It would be great if i could get a chance to talk on PM with you guys.

Quick update on it. My parents got an affidavit stating that my name was changed from D Singh to D Singh S from 2009 hence changing his name in passport.

Now, will that work as a bridge for my name change from my DOB certificate to my passport?

Yes. Affidavit is very much acceptable at CIC. You are good with it. Don't worry too much. This is a very minor issue.
