NOC Code......
2147
Hi everyone,

I need help on this one. I've read several posts abput this but I haven't been able to get a clear answer.

I'm applying under FSW, NOC 2147. This NOC states that as a requirement that a bachelor's degree is needed. And my situation is the following: I started working (full time, paid) in September 2014, until October 2016. Which technically gives me 2 years of foreign work experience. But, I officially got my degree in April 2015. It's just that I started working in that company while I was finishing my final project, but all classes and subjects were passed successfully. But in any case this was an apprenticeship, it was a full time paid job.

When creating my EE profile, I'm asked what date I first became qualified for that NOC. Should I put April 2015 here? And then, in the work history section, should I put the dates September 2014 - October 2016? How many years of foreign work experience will be taken into account? Or should I put that I started working there in April 2015 (even that's not technically true) and claim 1 year just to be sure there are no problem with my application?

Thanks a lot in advance!!

Rule #1: Don't "claim" anything, don't bend the truth, don't lie, don't nothing.
I got my first job before earning my bachelor. I wrote the graduation date as date when I was qualified, and my years of experience as to my actual start and end date in accordance to the reference letter given to me by my former employer.

I'm past the BG check so all good so far! Seriously though don't misrepresent anything. Explain it in LOE when submitting. I'm sure they know that in some countries people are allowed to work full time before graduating if they have qualifications
