Data analyst one year courses details required

Hi All,

I am 34 , MBA marketing completed in 2011 have been working in investment banks (code 1112) for nearly 10 years now mostly in investment banking operations.

I have applied for PR but still waiting for an invite score being 441.

I am thinking of applying for student visa for data analytics one year diploma as it will help in my career growth as currently stagnent.

Please advise some good colleges offering data analytics/automation coursed In canada.

I advise you to look at some online Data analytic courses before enrolling in a program. I know many people with a similar background to yours that wanted to Data analytics thinking it will be easy but struggled to do so. It requires deep statistical, programming, and database knowledge.

Needs to be at least a post graduate diploma. Study permit will be refused for a simple diploma.

Have you done any work in the data & analytics space? It needs to make sense why you want to take this course in Canada.

100% agree with this. A one year diploma is pretty much useless for entering this field.

Thanks for the reply, I have worked for nearly 10 years in investment banks closely with business analysts using Tableau for process management .
Though am MBA marketing passout my graduation is in Engineering.

Basic idea behind doing a one year course is to add points to my resume Long with current work to progress ahead in career as currently it's stagnant. Considering operations will get affected by automation in near future looking to add skills apart from my work experience.

Though I think this would be a beneficial course for my career I am open to any other suggestion for courses to search.

I had a score of 451 in 2019 I am waiting since two years. I think studying is a good option given career wise I am stagnant as well.
