Habari People!!

I am a FSW - Outland. Waiting now for 10 months,..is there anyone in the same boat here?

Does the DSM office provide AOR2? My file was transferred on the 14th of February and I haven't heard anything. GCKey changed yesterday to "we need additional documents" but no email about what documents are needed. PCC, Sched A and birth certificate have already been sent.

Hi Rahma, My app is sitting DARVO since Oct 22, 2017 they haven't sent AOR2 to us yet. Are you sure there's no attachment on your GCKEY? if you linked your online account usually CIC don't send email/attachment other than notification.

Thanks for answering! Has your GCKEY had any updates since the file was transferred? I have no attachment/message/notification on GCKEY. It's just the application status that updated for the additional documents line. Guess I just have to be patient.

No, I couldn't link my App to GCKEY account due to I have paid representative.
You must be talking about ECAS which is different it just only show status only ECAS, but if you do have GCKEY account there must be attachment if cic request something
here is the https://clegc-gckey.gc.ca/j/eng/l?ReqID=s29f30fe3291309829686d8b34e69797010e9a8d18

No I'm definitely talking about GCKEY. There is a place at the top that shows the application status and that is where it says additional documents are required but there is no message like there was for PCC and Sched A.

Hi Rahmab, Have you received AOR2 from DARVO? was it mail or email?

My spouse's status showed the same " we need additional doc to continue ..." After 1.5 months it changed to the documents you have uploaded have been received. So it doesn't mean much if you submitted PC and schedule a.
Dar is very slow these days , we have been waiting for almost 2 months.

Oh okay! Good to know then. I'll just have to wait it out then and see if it changes to received. Is your spouse Tanzanian or in another East African country?

She is Tanzanan.
The whole process shouldn't even take 1 month from submission of application to visa stamp. They have a quota each year and don't put enough resources at visa offices as this is not a priority for the government- so simply they don't care.
With all the technology available, screening and background check is just a matter of clicking that mouse. Anyways the best answer to everything for now is just wait till they pick up your file.

Doesn't surprise me that the Tanzanian office is slow... fits with how everything else works here too! haha Best of luck with your application

Any updates from anyone?
