Hi Dar family,

According to my set of notes that i have received today, my file was transfered to Nairobi because of " lack of jurisdiction". Anyone seen this before?

What do they mean due to lack of jurisdiction? Does it mean Dar has no power or authority to handle your file? Could there be any complication they think Dar wont handle?
I am just wondering too.

Yeah, they transfered our file to Nairobi on August 10 without even notifying us. Thank God i ordered the notes. This is the note i see the day it was transfered " R11 not met PA is resident of Hargeisa, Somalia: LES Action: file transfert to Nairobi".

Now it makes sense why Dar never received my CSQ in september. My was file is in Nairobi. I call CIC this morning and they told me to send the CSQ to Nairobi because this is where our file is.

I hope im gonna my priority now that my file is in Nairobi.

Yeah, i saw that in the notes. They work on our file almost evey month. Now we have under application assignment due date: oct 31st 2016. I hope to hear from them.

Just a quick update regarding our process. The CSQ process took so long as we did not expected this is very disappointing. The CSQ was received only last week :'(
However, my wife received the passport back today with the visa.
Thank you guys for you advise and input. We really appreciated.
Don't give up, i know how much its painful when it s taking time but unfortunately this process is not under our control.
