Hello everybody
I am from Damascus, and I am going to submit my passport at Amman Visa Application Centre by courier.
Which company do you advise, DHL or ARAMEX?
ARAMEX is much more expensive, but I am afraid DHL might ask for more later, could they?

2- How can we pay the VAC service fees? On their website they demand the fees to be paid in person- Cash only (Jordanian dinars). Being in Syria, this is next to impossible for me. Any suggestions?

It doesn't matter if you use Aramex or DHL, both as opposed to VFS are not adopted by the Canadian embassy, and by the way from my experience you will be charged more once they know you are shipping passports. If you have reached the PPR2 stage, it will be worth making some extra effort, your options as I believe will be one of the following:

1- Come to Amman and apply in person - if you can do it at all.
2- Send your passports to someone you trust in Amman to do it for you.
2- Send a CSE to your VO explaining the situation and ask them if you can use courier services other than VFS as they are not available in Syria- if that is so, if they accept, attach a cover letter with their confirmation email to your parcel and make sure to arrange for the return of your parcel once the visa is stamped.

Hope this helps

Amman visa office accepts passports by courier, it's clear in their email, their only request is to include a return pre-paid airway bill.
