azadeh I totally understand you we're in the same boat . our applications started to be processed at the same time and it seems like we're the only one whose files from November are still being processed!! why oh why!!! I'm leaving in 3 days and I was hoping to come back with my husband but now I lost hope. totally lost hope

i'm sure u r not the only ones left in November and maybe there r others before u who did not get the visa yet...at the end, how many people use and update this thread? probably some got their PPR too this week from Damascus but they r not here to share...don't be sad be happy for ur vacation and for the time u'll spend together and stop thinking about it for a few days...the good news will come when u least expect it

as for the situation here everything is calm till now ! (fi jalset lal majles el nouweb kermeil ye3tou el si2a la 7oukoumeh !)
w men shway two of them had a fight in speech there .. THIS IS LEBANON hahaha
and the (ma7kameh el douwaliyeh)= court thing is the most famous nowadays hahaha (ka enou el balad na2sou)

I have a question for those who got their PPR, a friend of mine got his PPR yesterday, so he is trying to send his passport by DHL, they told him that they don't have a return envelope so what should he do exactly, will the embassy send his passport back by regular mail, or he should include a return envelop for his passport to come back, what should he do if DHL doesn't want to sell him a return envelop

He sends it, then when the passport is ready for pickup the embassy sends him an email telling him its ready and then he tells dhl to go pick it up from him from the visa office and send it back to him.

i'm sure he meant it's ridiculously slow in processing immigration application, no connection with anything else...i don't think anyone almost sleeping (1:30am) will double-check what they write on a forum, it's not a CV or formal email...so don't take it as an offense...on the other hand, we all feel sad abt the situation there

as for the passport question, yeah i would go in person to pick it up!! it's too important to rely on the post office

hello eveyone this is bash the old one , i opened a new account cuz i lost my password in the previous one.
it has been a while . to be honest i missed being on the forum, i had my wedding on june 27 and the second day i was cheking my email and i saw PPR EMAIL , same day as my wedding, what a day, we went and pickup the visa from damascus yesterday !!!!
im going back to canada with my wife ...soo happy,
hopefully all of u will get it soon, ... mikey, tati, nagz , sohrab ...etc, and all the gang !

Are you sure about this, how will the DHL person know which passport to pickup, will they give you a specific number that you have to tell DHL about.
Can any one els confirm please, this is urgent, he only have 7 days to send his passport.
