hehehe vivi2, you know what, I can send them an e-mail and tell them that you love them, because they answer my e-mails in no time ;Dvivi2 said:Oh what a kind reply! can i send them an email and tell them i love them and thank them for at least telling us that their objective is 9 months?!!!!
I agree with you to some points on your 9 points, but define : "enough proof of relationship"shazdehTheSecond said:Thanks Wardeh for sharing that.
here is a good piece of info as well:

it's in persian.
the author argues that the recent slow process is due to the process improvement and automation to streamline and speed up immigration process. Once they are done, the cases will be processed much faster.
I personally think it makes sense because we have noticed a tangible progress here as well. They are communicating through emails as opposed to snail mail.
The article also predicts that the paper application forms will go away soon and the whole immigration process will be done online.
Not to mention, it also emphasizes that the recent situation in syria has negative impact on the productivity as well. Weather they stay with their family or not, either way they cannot focus 100% at their tasks.
I'd also like to add among 6 sponsorship applicants I know in person none of them waited more than 7 months. This forum is very useful but we should also keep in mind the complexities of each case. For instance Sara sent 3 emails and a few photos, no wonder it took a bit longer. I am sure there is something wrong with Kamal's case as well.
I suggest those have been waiting more than 10 months share the details of their case so we can come to a better conclusion:
E.g.
1) is it your first time you are sponsoring?
2) did you send enough proof of relationship?
3) do you work in a well known company in canada?
4) do you live in canada?
5) did you pay the landing fee in advance?
6) were all your documents complete? did you complete your forms properly?
7) did you print the characters in your forms?
8) did you provide the required info in clear english (I am not impressed with the english writing of some in this forum)
9) ... or any other thing what may make your case different slightly.
please don't take it personal. there could be some bad lucks but generally speaking the average processing time for normal cases is about 7 months.
dear it's because you only have posted 6 times so it prevents you from sending private msgs. in a few more posts you'll be able toA+M said:Thx for the mssg vivi! I tried to send you a mssg but it says I am not allowed? Any idea why that is???

I'm sorry but I do not agree with you at all. The process taking longer for some people has nothing to do with the questions you have asked below. If the officer starts working on a case and they see that the evidence it not sufficient they will ask the applicant to submit more evidence, as we have seen with several cases on this forum.
I had talked to a lawyer before we started this process and she said that they can not refuse a spousal sponsorship case based on your sallary or job.
Two of my friends had the exact same case as I have. One was in 2005 and they received PPR in 3 months while the other was in 2008 and their case took 6 months.
I on the other hand applied in 2010 and have been waiting for 8 months. And believe me I've given them loads of evidence and filled the forms to perfection!
There is a reason why they keep changing the processing times on their website, because the processing times are getting longer. When my sister in law applied(and got her PPR in 3 months)the processing time was 6 months.
I don't know if it is because of the work load they have or some thing else, but they are processing applications much slower than before.

we also filled them out perfectly and they still ask us for random documents. like where does the company my husband works for import it's merchandise from and who do they sell stuff to ?? I don't remember them asking that in the forms . all it asked was state your job position . the start date and the name of the company. I also provided them with months and moths of phone bills.tons of emails and photos. and yet, I am still waiting. Like I said previously I met this Iranian girl at school who sponsored her husband in 2008 an he came in 4 or 5 months
oh yes dear A+M, Nagz is right, when your posts reach the number of 10 you can send messages so try sending 4 posts and making it 10!A+M said:Thx for the mssg vivi! I tried to send you a mssg but it says I am not allowed? Any idea why that is???
hihi, well do that and tell them vivi2 sends her love and a big hug to them!Wardeh said:hehehe vivi2, you know what, I can send them an e-mail and tell them that you love them, because they answer my e-mails in no time ;D
it looks like again that it depends on the person officer reading and working on the file, some of them are easier than others..vivi2 said:hihi, well do that and tell them vivi2 sends her love and a big hug to them!
