My husband was at the embassy today to pick up his passport and he said there was about 30 people there to pick up the passports as well.
So Damascus is working guys, just hold on a little longer and inshallah you will hear from them soon.

Just a note I read for NH.
Are you the sponsor? and theyre asking for your RCMP
You can do the RCMP if you are in Canada with electronic fingerprints.
CHeck the web for electronic fingerprinting services
No need to wait for 4 months using the traditional ink fingerprinting - the electronic version takes 3 days MAX but u have to be in Canada I guess to visit one of these locations.
If u are, I suggest u do it and send it to them.

I was so happy to hear that there was a lot of people there too, that is why I wanted to share the information. Things there are okay but stay in on Friday's, that is the protesting. He is only leaving the home if and only if it he has too...lol

And most important, if you do have to go there, do not talk to anyone about the situation there, even if a person starts the convo with you. Do not answer them back. This is very important do not at all times talk about the situation. Remember guys there is no free speech there. But other then that things are okay so far. Inshallah it will stay that way.

My application was received by Damascus on 27/April/2011 , plz add me to the list

In the ecase the address that is shown in not complete so my wife (sponsor) send them 2 emails and a case enquiry asking them to change the mailing address to the address of our lawyer in Canada but they did not email her back nor change the address on the ecase, Is this normal ( it has been 4 weeks after the case enquire) ?
