i just wanna say if you have hurry and have any plan for going canada soon do it by yourself because now a days they are so busy and one of my friends before nowrooz send her passport and after 4 weeks got it but another friends of mine send his passport end of esfand and after 7 weeks he still didn't get his passport.
but sooner or later finaly you can see your wife, congradulation to both of you again.

First of all I think your member of parliament at this situation is your best bet because if you are close to your time of visa which is the immigration in Canada told me from the day you start to day your visa will be issued is 12 month and if you feel that your application close to this date do not hazetate ti contact your mp or send an inquiry .
In my case I contact them evey month and finally succeed.
