Hi everybody thats what the embassy sent to me for my wife to do my file been more that 1 year

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. Please send the following documents:



- To undergo a new medical examination using one of our designated doctors – list attached.



You must send photocopies of the Arabic originals of all documents. Only send ORIGINAL documents when requested. All documents, in a language other than English or French must be accompanied by original certified translations into English or French, except the passport.



Please note that if you do not comply with this request within 60 days of the date of this letter, your application for permanent residence in Canada will be assessed on the basis of the information already before the officer. Failure to provide the requested documents could result in the refusal of your application.



Please note: It is your responsibility to ensure that the information you provide our office is accurate and up-to-date. Please inform us immediately if there are any changes to the information or documents you have submitted. If there is a change in your legal status or that of any family member (marriage, birth, death, divorce, etc.) you must notify us before visas are printed.



PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CHANGES TO PROCEDURES FOR SUBMITTING DOCUMENTS AND PASSPORTS:



All correspondence/documents must be sent directly to the Canadian Embassy in Damascus at the address indicated above. DO NOT send or submit any documents to our offices in Amman, Beirut or Tehran. Any correspondence you send to these offices will be returned to you.



Your file is being processed in Damascus. No representations, faxes, telephone calls or correspondence can or will be answered by these Embassies; all inquires must be sent directly to the visa office in Damascus.



Please quote your file number, as well as your telephone & fax numbers on all correspondence and on every document you send to us.

When did you medical expire ? My wife's medical expires this month but i haven't heard from the the embassy. They replied my wife 2 weeks ago saying that if we require additional documents, we will inform you.

and you guys think its a good idea for my wife to do her medical now instead of waiting to hear back from the embassy ? How much time would we save by doing this ?

I Called the doctor for the medical and they said you have to bring appendex c as the same when you did it the first time so she said it takes 2 days for results and then we send it to paris so maybe only 8 days it will be at damascus but do I have to send the paper that the doctor gives me to the embassy the paper proofs that you made medical and how to send it though email or by mail?

I think you have to send back the part the doctor gives your by recommended mail. but email them and ask i'm sure they will tell u

Did any of u ever apply for a touristic schengen visa from the middle east? if yes how long did it take for you to get the visa??

My husbands expired in the end of Jan 2011 and I have been waiting for them to ask for the second medical. It is up to the officer if they request a new one or not. The embassy did not send me a new form for the second medical, so I do believe that it is the regular green sheet that the doctor used in the first medical. After we do the second one I will keep you informed.

my husband is in canada but also i was there for 4 months as a visitor now they want my police record during those 4 months in canada
any idea??
yes Nagz i have applied for schengen visa towice if it is visitor visa it should take like 10 working days.
