is the BC for Sponsor or Sponsored person ?

so do you know if the sponsored person didn't have any travel outside of his/her home country, then the BC would be faster or not ??

hello all,
there is not a law that say if you travel a lot your BC will take long/forever it is a matter of an officer starting to work on your file/ and finish your file and not file back in the drawer
this is how i feel

I had a question regarding the letter that I had received in December..

At the bottom of my approval letter it says "This letter confirms receipt of the processing fee." ... So my question is .. does this mean it's my AOR as well ? *Acknowledgement of receipt ?

Thanks for any answers!

xoxo hope everyone is well!!

waiting sucks!

Hi all

Thanks Arachir, AAM7, Kamal, Eli, Iman, MH.Danesh & YayaMarei for your kind and warm wishes.
Sorry that I couldn't check this website frequently because I didn't have unlimited access to Internet.
Now I have access and it would be my pleasure to answer your questions....
You can contact me whenever you want just by sending a PM from this site to me...
by3 for now

I was wondering for the army exemption paper if they need the original.. I emailed the Canadian embassy in Lebanon which is the country I had initially selected as point of contact telling them that I had not included that paper.. They replied to me within a few hours. Then the next day they emailed me again saying that I could just scan the paper and that they would forward it to Damascus processing office for me. Is that how it works??.

I don't know what the AOR is.. I live in Quebec the processing is a bit different when it comes to the submissions to the provincial and federal govt.

hi rezan

do u think ur conversation with the officer had effect on ur Pass resquest? and when u went to embassy and checked ur file what was the status?did they finish BC

Dear arachir
i didnt speak with the officer in charge. Actually they dont let people speak with the officers. The one who I spoke to wasnt the officer of my case.
When i went to the embassy the lady told me that your file is in the queue for review !! She said there is no way to speed up the proccess but I think it had effect because i received passport request exactly after 24 hours !! It cant be by chance !
I think it has effects...

hi i went to embassy also they didn't even let two of us get in they said one of us can go in ask then i got in and she said we are not suppose to go there for checking our status but she said since you came all the way here i will check it and she told me ints in the queue for the officer to review . so going there it might not be the best idea .
two weeks ago i sent them a e-mail regard of my status they sent me this e-mail:

Please be advised that the application is in queue for review. Please be patient as we will contact you when the application reaches the next stage of processing. In the meantime, if there is any change in the information submitted for the application please inform us as soon as possible.

Mississauga made decision: June 22, 2010
Damascus started on the case: June 30, 2010
Residency Questionnaire asked: August 5, 2010
