Mehran and us applied on the same day last January.
Niloo Jan, I think you should be waiting for yours since you applied a little bit after us.

Yeah, those who have approval dates near to you (not necessarily a near applying date) have actually a good chance to be PPRed these days.

Hey guys. I finally got the golden email today. My wife was my sponsor and our processing time was as below:
Application filed : Jan 26 2012
File transfer to Ankara: April 05 2012
got in process: Aug 02 2012
pass request: Feb 07 2012
All the places I have traveled so far are Dubai for US embassy for my student Visa and US as student since six months ago.
Wish all of u guys good luck.

What a exiting news ;D congrats, it seems Ankara visa is advancing towards issuing visa for majority of applicants.... Good for you!!! Guys, your visas are just around the corner; I'm sure

Landing in Canada is not a big deal if you are capable to speak and understand English even inarticulately. Before landing in the airport, you will be provided by a declaration card in the airplane which you suppose to declare what you are going to bring to Canada. You should not bring lots of cash (more than 10000$), medication without prescription, extra amount of alcohol or cigarettes (>1.5 l, >200), etc. The card is easy to fulfill. Any other precious belongings that you are supposed to bring sooner or later is better to be declared in a different sheet and be given to the immigration officer.
To me, there is no need for an additional column in the spreadsheet while it is not helpful in having a reasonable insight for the future of those who are still waiting or even PPRed.

Hi,

I'm not sure which page(s) from 3911E Family Class Sponsorship form should an Iranian applicant include in his/ her application.

To me it appears we only need to fill pages 12 to 15 along with document checklist ( page 2 to 7 ). Also do we need to fill residency questionnaire included in this package? Or are they for Abu Dhabi and Islamabad applicants only? (on top of these residency pages it's marked Embassy of Canada in Islamabad as well as Abu Dhabi).

Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks.

Erina joon as far as I remember the sponsored person should fill out the SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION FORM (TRAVEL HISTORY) n EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT HISTORY , MILITARY SERVICE (exactly pages 12 to 15 along with your application and also provide 8 recent photos as per instructed)
we didn't put the checklist of this package, I think there is checklist form (IMM 5491) if i'm not wrong in cic website which u can download and put it along with your application)
btw there is no need 2 fill residency questionnaire (man injuri por kardam )
