Guys I'm stressed out :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( why they don't ask me to pay for landing fee???? It's been so long :'( :'( :'( :'( someone here got contacted for the fee after one month and for me still nothing :'( :'( :'(

Erina joon this is not true about the whole applicants. we applied on march 30 n they asked us for the repayment of landing fee on Dec3!!! i recommend u pay it in advance or u have to waist a few extra months as soon as they ask u for that.

Guzelyol u r going to pass the interview w flying colors they will take ur hubbys passport on the day and he will have his visa stamped in there the day after...this is going to b over in less than a month:) im sure of it

The only thing that is sure is that I'll fly from Ottawa to Ankara on Feb 1-2 to support him and show the VO I truly exist, and that I'll be back in Ottawa on... Feb 5. If he's granted a PR visa, he'll have to change his return flight and come back to Istanbul alone. It's almost impossible for me to stay in Turkey any longer this time :(

Erina jaan, I still cannot figure it out why you are not going to pay the landing fee in advance. I know there might be an uncertainty whether your case will not face any kind of trouble in the middle, but usually there will be no complicated objection. thus, earlier you pay RPRF, lesser delay you'll probably have.
There is no certainty here in deed. Sepide was asked to pay RPRF despite she had paid it months ago. But you can be sure that whenever you are asked to pay it, that means at least a few months of further delay.

Dear the thing is you guys are sponsoring spouse, and I'm sponsoring partner, so our chances of approval is 50/50. That's why we haven't paid the fee yet, since if they refuse our case, it's a complex process to get the refund, or at lest that's what my lawyer said, but I'm gonna confirm with them tomorrow, personally I think I should pay this landing fee, and I think I will by the end of this week, but the problem is, we don't know whether if they approve or refuse our case.

something totally offtopic:D...
you guys if you dont mind answering or me asking for that matter....
how old are you and your spouse...ie the age difference?:D.... do you think the age factor effects CIC's decision making?

I'm the youngest :P 23, and lovy is 26 :P yest, age does matter, as well as many other factors. Also, despite what they say, they really like to see young people entering their country, especially those who bring education, occupation, etc...

I'm 23 too :D but your husband is younger than mine :))he is 32

Cyruse aziz... Qatar stopped flying flights through london or so thats what their office is saying... Therefore notuing to van just montreal...so far we are still waiting for pourias ppr... And lufthansa seems more economical than klm... But thank u:)
Well, in that case I have actually no idea. In 2011, I flew twice with Qatar airways, and it was a two-stop flight; Duha and London. From London to Vancouver, I was switched to the Air Canada. Btw, when I bought my ticket back then few were aware of such opportunity. The thing I learned was that there are some of such less known choices which have not been brought forth. One, I concern, should check other ectopic airlines to find one. Next month, my wife's cousin will come to Vancouver by Austrian airlines that was the most cost-benefit one when he was buying his ticket. After all, I've checked it right away, and see even you can get an Emirates flight; Tehran-Dubai-Seattle-Vancouver.

Welcome and thanks for sharing your timeline with us. I've added your info to the timeline (link in my signature). Two things are missing tho. Date for medical and your status in Canada.

Sorry to hear about the delay in your application. Hope you'll be lucky this time and get the PPR sooner than expected ;)

I'm a PR in Canada. The first medical check was performed and sent by late November 2011 (I do not remember the exact date). The second one was done voluntarily (the V.O. has not asked for it) in 10.12.2012.

Here we go for awesome week ... this week all applicants in 2011 and before will get PPR
we are sure about this :)

a quick update :)
my bro went 2 Ankara for visa pick-up since , he flew with Mahan Air today morning. he went to d embassy straight from d airport at 7am. he told me that there were 25 pple in line. most of them applying through the skill worker category n waiting 4 a long time like 7 or 8 years! after opening d embassy at 8:30 it took 20 min to submit the passport then a person who is turkish but speak farsi gave him a receipt. he should go back tomorrow at 2pm.
good luck
p.s. he also told me that there was a person from a travel agent in Iran that represents a bunch of ppl (carrying about 15-20 passports) n maybe kasaei ke az tarighe sponsorship budan bishtar passeshuno dadan be agenta vase pick up.
