Hi,

Any news? Anybody got his/her PPR? Anything changed to delay this already long process even longer? :D My husband is thinking to get back to Iran. This process is just stealing time from our lives. Who knows how long more we need to wait that something happens.

I wish there was someone in the immigration office that could feel our pain.

Goli

Hi my wife best friend that went to Ankara to pick up her visa, has asked the officer why they are taking so long with spouse sponsorship and she also said to them my friend is in pain everynight waiting to see her husband; the officer told her that they are sorry to hear that but they were very busy with alot of visas issuance ( I am thinking Students ;)) and they will be working on spouse applications soon after New year.
I dont know if he told her that in order to get her off his back or there is some truth into it but I am looking at it with positive energy. ;D ;D :P
Happy New Year every one hopefully this is the year for everyone to reunite.

hoooraaaaaaaaaaaaaa congraaaats
that's the best news in these days
when is your medical ? is it expire or they extend it ?

Happy news around New Year, good timing :) congrats

I also added your info to our chart, hope that's ok.
We shouldn't jump to conclusions with just one ppr BUT the processing time is speeding up. :D

CONGRATZZZZZZZ
very good news
wish u the best

Thank you guys so much for your kind words. I really hope all of you will get your visas and reunite with your loved ones, very soon.

Few things to clarify:
- I'm NOT a citizen
- we submitted our docs on March 12
- sponsorship got approved on June 5
- CSQ (for Quebec residents) was sent to Ankara office towards end of June
- ECAS changed to in-process on July 17
- the visa (if issued) will expire on the day of the medical expiry or passport expiry, whichever comes first, as per VO email (we did medical once)
- we only have 30 days to send the passport to Ankara

Hope you all a smooth processing again, especially those who waited for a significant time ...

Unless u have a lawyer u dont need to fill out the representative forms...as for cic contacting u it depends what stage of the process u r in... If in stage one they will contact u and if stage two most likely they will contact her... Hope this helps and u have a smooth sailing through the process

Thanks a lot for your response.
