hi people ;)

does anyone of you have the IMM 1017(05-2010) , the medical report : section A

all I could find was the IMM 1017 ( 05- 2004 ) from the cic website.

the form I 'm looking for has a box for UCI # and appl . #on top right side .

I rather take the first form to the dr. . It is the form that embassy sends out to applicants recently.

cheers

Didn't know about a 2010 version of it. We used the one from 2004.

Hi Raha,

Could you please update my info:

I (Arash) am the sponsor. My eligibility as a sponsor was approved on Jan 20, 2012. Medical was done in Oct 2011.

Thanks
Arash

Hi NMBMM, I updated your info. As you mentioned we have very close time lines! Actually there are 4 of us who were approved in December: You, me, hbehmane & Solh. All of us are in process, mine from June 25th! But the closest friend with PPR to us is "rah" who had filed in August.

Hi,
I am really confused reading around on different threads...quick question for the more experienced people on this forum. I am the sponsor.. so I do not need a police certificate, but my spouse who is being sponsored needs a police certificate from every country that has been lived in for more than 6 months. Do we also need to have all other family members of my spouse do a police record check and have their police certificates in our application????? I have only submitted my spouses police certificate.

thanks for your help :)

Hi, exactly where do u find this ?? you should put document only for person(s) who is in the application. when there is just one, so everything is just for him/her.

Hello, Ankara has not sent us anything confirming whether they have received the medical results or not. We received an email from Ankara requesting second medical and RPRF mid May and we sent off everything by May 20th. The medical results get sent to Paris for processing so the hospital staff can give you a shipping number to track the package.

Using the website address and shipping number you can see if your package gets to Paris or not but after that you don't have any way of obtaining information about your case. It has not been updated on my e-case yet either. I also don't know if the Paris processing center has completed whatever they need to to update Ankara yet or if Ankara has received this information but haven't worked on my application.

If I were you, I would do a second medical and pay the RPRF. You can find info about these two things easily if you need to.

Don't give them an excuse to delay your case, if your medical is up to date, you have paid the RPRF, and everything else is in order, they will process your application. My stupid "representative" did not tell me about these two things and consequently I have been waiting in the dark since May. If these two things were done, our application would have been processed by now. >:( >:( >:(

notice : maybe they don't need another medical because I read in CIC web site that office allow to request directly to paris to extend medical's results 6 - 12 months , what do you think ?

i have not heard of this at all, what does all the fam members got to do with the person being sponsored, its not like they are all coming to Canada..the only reason they need the police clearance check is because they want to know who the person is and if he/she has a criminal record..but if this is a new policy then you would be asked for it right when you start the application and sent it off to Mississauga.

In spousal sponsorship, by Family they don't mean parents, sisters, brothers, etc. What they mean is husband/wife and children over 18 years. Relaxxxxx .... :)

Who needs a police certificate?

In general, you and everyone in your family who is 18 years of age or over need to obtain a police certificate. You must obtain a police certificate from each country or territory where you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.

The certificate must have been issued no more than three months before you submit your application.

If the original certificate is neither in English nor in French, submit both the certificate and the original copy of a translation prepared by an accredited translator with your application.
