Thank you laleh_d :):):):):):):):) we've had an emotional week! From devastated to learn that Ankara wanted an RCMP fingerprint check which can only be submitted with ink outside of Canada and takes 6-8 months to even receive the check to give to Ankara.... To now finding a company that will convert ink to digital and the check will be done in 3 business days:):) avoided a HUGE delay!! Will be able to submit all documents they asked for within a few weeks :):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
Thank you for thinking of us Laleh jan:)

waw congratulation A+M realy Happy for you

Hello everyone,

as perhaps an irrelevant question, is it possible to have someone carry your passport to another country and then mail it to the embassy from within the country in which the embassy is located for visa pick up? My main concern is the ability to carry someone else's passport with you on a flight to another country. Can you mail your passport from country A to the embassy in country B? Thanks :)

Thank you mehdiR and lele! We are very excited!!

Thanks Abdullah, my wife was Passport requested by for a Visitor Visa, not her sponsorship PR visa (I filed up to sponsor her in Nov. 2011). We were wondering what would be the easiest way to send the passport and get the visa. Some people say couriers Do NOT accept passports, my understanding was that they dont accept to send passports oversees (crossing borders), is that right?

Courier services dont accept passport, due to some restrictions in mailing overseas. By the way, congratulations. your wife is so lucky, because I have applied for study visa in addition to pr, but up to now no response is raised to my request. When was your wife applied for visit visa? Through Ankara or Tehran VO?

no ppr today???
I will go to Ankara on Monday to get visa

Na honey, my husband filed our application in October 2011. It was approved in December, then kept in Canada till March 2012 and then sent directly to Ankara. My ecase is in process since June 25th. And that is all about us ;)
There was another friend named 'rah' , maybe she d applied in April 2011, i m not sure!

im just wondering....how did u find out that it was kept in canada for like 3 months after being approved? i just presumed after you get approved for sponsorship they send it directly to the VO... it just makes me wonder if my file is still in canada? although in the email i recieved it said it has been sent to ankara...
i guess they are low in resources to update the info more regularly

but i guess your almost there...goodluck:D>:D<
