I booked through phone.
The hotel is good. 100 Euro for one night including breakfast.
The best thing of this hotel is its distance till embassy.

Arezou, I'm very happy for you and all iranian applicants although some have been waiting for a long time, but at least you guys know that Ankara is working! Whereas we are pretty clueless in Amman but mostly Beirut.

I can understand you!
When i saw the officers beyond the window i thought about our files which were among their hands. But they were so relax. They were joking, laughing and after 9 o'clock they started to accept people. So it shows that they are not hard working people and we have to wait till they give a reaction. Our lives are not important to them at all.

Yes true!! I remember that too! Damascus has asked me to redo my medical back in January 2012. Have you been asked to redo yours and when does or did yours (your wife's I mean) expire?

in mars 14 it expired but till now i had received nothing even i e-mailed them like 3 weeks ago about this matter and till now no answer (sem3an bil day3a) i'm waiting for the 25 day to pass if no answer i'm going to pay them a visit,,,
by the way do you remember the form # for CAIPS,

I really hope you guys can go to the embassy and atleast make some waves in there! I know my moms friend went for me (shes not a born canadian, but has been for many many years now) and they didnt give her any info, just that i should email for any inquiries! I'll be in Lebanon next month, but only for 10 days, and i dont know if i should go and waste a day-but maybe they can tell me something, ill show them my birth certificate and tell them they are obligated to give me info LOL.

Anyways, our application was received in Damascus April 6th 2011 (13 months now, woo hoo lol) they asked us to redo medical January 2012, and at the ending of March a line was added to our ecas saying 'Medicals Received'!

Let's see whats going to happen! Maybe I should try and email them next week :/ Good luck everyone and keep us posted if you guys go to the embassy :D

thats exactly why i hate this stupid immigration system we have here, they dont care about us at all, they are just telling us to all have patients and we will be called....but what they are forgetting is that, this is real life, real people and real time waiting, counting days and suffering...canada brings thousands of people in the country yearly and yet again here we are waiting for 2 years to get an effective true message that states the status of our files...i dont know if people have to wait for month to get a simple update on their files anywhere else in the world...i mean comon we deserve to know the status of our files, personally for me its been 15 month and i still dont know whats the holds up why cant they even email back... these people are playing with our lives and i hope their lives will be played with at some point in their live times....i dont mean to be harsh but they have made us suffer so much that i wish for them to suffer in the same way so they can get up from their lazy asses and start doing something.... i feel like all they care about is their little paycheck at the end of the month and they will do anything to extend the times of peoples files and lives so they can have their jobs for longer periods of time while having others suffer anxiety, panic attack, boredom etc etc.. i have personally given up on this stupid country and its stupid immigration system and have lost faith and hope in ever seeing my husband once again....

Sure, It's pretty straightforward;
1. completing IMM 5475 to be filled and signed by your wife
2. completing IMM 5563
3. Pay $5 required fee.

You can further check it out here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/form-imm5563.asp

One more thing!!! I think everyone would agree that she would be better off doing the medical right away and when they ask for it she can just scan the green slip.

We have almost identical cases as my file have been received by Damascus on the 27 april 2011, then they asked me to redo medical on 12 Jan 2012 and "at the ending of March a line was added to our ecas saying 'Medicals Received'!"

We will go for sure so far there are 3 of us. I'm hoping more people would join in so we could make a bigger impression!

Hi,

Soon its will be 17 months for me. I will go in Lebanon on May 25th for two weeks to see my wife and I intend to go to the embassy. My wife and I have sent several e-mail but still no response.

My wife is 4 months pregnant and today the doctor tell her that we will have a girl. The medical examination of my wife's good until October 2012. I hope they have a little pity for his case and finalized it draws birth in Canada.
