Guys I have a question,

In Damascus an officers they used to process our file and take decision, now what if in Lebanon other officers take another decision...?

well yes Khalid is right they have to follow regulations but in the end of the day, everyone has his own discretion. One person may let something slip but the other person may be very anal about it. you know what i mean?

You should have nothing to worry about, only need to worry if your marriage looks 'fake' and i'm sure if they were to refuse an application there would be a HUGE uproar if the marriage was truly legit.

No way, the decision making process isn't subjective. Either u meet the criteria and receive the visa or u fail to fulfill the requirements and get rejected. It has nothing to do with the officer.....the most that an officer can do is to cause a delay in the issuance of ur visa by asking for more thorough investigations, extra documents, etc.

Actually my opinion is closer to what Khalid said than urs. Of course, if an officer wants to be a pain in the neck he can make u wait a few extra months but at the end of the day he can't reject u.

I believe that they are training more people, but I feel like the whole 'april 1st boxes will be opened' is not legit, first of all April 1st is a Sunday! They are training more people for sure (due to how tiny that office was, and due to not processing family class papers before) BUT Amman also never filed family class papers either, and they issued a visa! :) Let's just wait and see, antoher week has gone by, which means another week closer :D
