I talked to a receptionist and asked her what the wait is like for the files from Damascus that were transferred over. she said to think of it as the Damascus embassy moving to a new location but everything staying the same. she said the files from Damascus are in their own location separate from the rest of the embassy with their own staff. so we would still follow the same timeline of 14 mths total... not starting over but continuous. I told her I was at 11 mths she said to expect 3 more mths. She was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable and even wished me luck. I know we get a lot of different answers no matter who we ask but thought I'd share this one. have a great day

I would think the 14 mths but this a game with no rules and no one really knows. Everyone we talk to has a different answer The 14 mths is a average of files processed last year so they could be processed faster this year... it's a guessing game.... a game of luck!

how much time still in processing time? just expectations, but I am sure they will not back to zero, and the rest of the processing time will be finished by the new offices " If you want me to finish the work of my colleague I need to review what he did then start working on it and if I am new worker I need training to know how to finish my work" all that will take time :
